Wedding Couples Ceremonies
Wedding and Civil Partnership Celebrations
Why not have a personal and unique ceremony to celebrate your legal marriage or civil partnership? These ceremonies can be conducted after you have legally married.
Registrars are restricted by time, content and even the venue. As an independent celebrant, Helen at Wild Peach Ceremonies doesn't have these constraints leaving her free to create your personal ceremony and include what's important to you.
You and your partner deserve more than an ‘insert name here’ ceremony and by choosing to have a celebrant you will have a truly personal and meaningful ceremony that celebrates your unique love story at the venue of your choice.
This is ideal if you want to include religious or cultural traditions within your ceremony or if you want something non-traditional. There really are no limits to what can be included (within reason and venue dependant) and Wild Peach Ceremonies are here to guide and support you throughout.
How to Get a Marriage Licence?
This infographic shows the 4-step process involved in getting a marriage Licence.
Commitment Ceremonies
If you don't want to get legally married but still want to show your commitment to each other in a meaningful way, then this is the ceremony for you.
Using the skills Helen learned during her qualification, she will work with you to create a personal commitment ceremony that is right for you both. It is your unique love story that creates the ceremony. If you want something that feels like a traditional wedding, no problem. If that sounds like the last thing you want, then great!
At Wild Peach Ceremonies, we love to do something completely different and quirky. You can choose to include symbolic actions like lighting a unity candle or you may want to include family and friends in the ceremony. With no limits (within reason) to what can be included in the ceremony means together we can create the commitment ceremony right for you.
Renewal of Vows
Are you and your partner about to reach a marriage milestone or maybe you feel now is the right time to say I do all over again and reaffirm your love for each other? A renewal of vows ceremony is a fantastic way to celebrate your journey together as a married couple through all of life's adventures. It is your love story that provides the content and Helen will spend time finding out all about your unique life together.
Your ceremony will be as unique and personal as your marriage and created just for you. Like all the ceremonies offered, there are lots of meaningful symbolic actions you can include such as warming the rings or a candle ritual. Your friends and family can be included in the ceremony and maybe it's time to re-write your vows or you can use the same words as spoken on your wedding day.
Symbolic Actions
Including a symbolic action in your ceremony will make it meaningful, unique and memorable. They are a great way to include family, friends and even pets. Helen had a celebrant-led wedding so that she could include Filipino symbolic actions, such as the veil and cord.
Here are some options to choose from:
- Unity candle lighting
- Planting a tree
- Stone ceremonies
- Drinking from one cup or a ‘Quaich’
- Cutting through an obstacle
- Sand, water or incense blending
- Jumping the broom
- Handfasting or joining of the hand’s
